So this whole starting DST early thing has had a severe impact on my schedule. For those of you that know me well, you know that I go poo. A lot. Probably at least 3 or 4 times a day. My normal morning routine consists of waking up around 7AM, going poo, showering, getting dressed, and heading to work. Once I’m at work, I usually have some breakfast (Activa yogurt, a banana, and sometimes some cereal or Quaker Oats) and then go poo again shortly after. Around comes lunchtime followed by another poo. Depending on what time I have dinner, perhaps another poo before, and definitely after dinner before I shower and get ready for bed.
Now with this new DST thing, my poo schedules have been thrown off. No longer do I feel the need to go poo in the morning right when I wake up. Usually this happens around 7AM, but since the time change, I wake up at what my body (or digestive system, rather) thinks is 6AM. Which is wayyy too early to be going poo. It’s been bothering me a lot lately so I’m trying to make up for it by eating another serving of Activa yogurt at night, in addition to the one in the morning.
Hopefully it will work. Or maybe by next week my body will have adjusted to the time change, and my digestive system will return to its normally scheduled programming. Then again I’ll be in Houston next week and they’re two hours ahead, so my pooing schedule will be thrown off even more. So sad.
